So now for the week. Tuesday was okay. We went out and we went and got our bikes fixed. We saw an old investigator named Nana Ya and that was cool. We met her a while back when I was with Koetting, but we might try to see her more. We went and Ememem went and bought tons of food and we just went back to the apartment for him. While he was cooking however, there came to be a huge fire!!!!! So luckily we didn't blow up.
Wednesday we had DCM at our apartment and while we were waiting for the other missionaries to come, it started raining and we didn't start till like 12 or something like that. We had that and yeah. When we went out we met a guy named Livingston. He contacted us and he seems really interested in the gospel. You'll find out later more about him. We left and went to Ablekuma to see Azuma and his grandma. We had a super good lesson with her and it was super cool, only problem is that she is the president in a women fellowship at her own church so it'll be super hard to get her to come to the church. So we taught them a super good lesson about the Restoration and then we went to see Francis. He's doing amazing and we learned that he had a smoking problem. We talked to him and helped him to resolve that concern and we gave him a blessing to help him overcome the temptation to smoke. We left and came home and yeah.
Thursday we left and saw brother Timothy for a little bit. He's doing well and we are going to have a good lesson with him next week. We went and met a girl named Sandra. She's a girl that works at the american shop where I get my Mountain Dew. So we started teaching her, but it was just somehow to say the least. She was very stubborn about the great apostasy** and how there was no true church on the earth, but what she doesn't understand was that there was still truth. We went and saw Belinda. She's drinking and that sucks. So we committed her to stop drinking that so that's good. We left and we saw the Yeboah family after forever and that was nice. We came back and saw Livingston. We had an amazing lesson with him and he understands very well about why we need the Book of Mormon and it's amazing! So we left and yeah.
Friday was just bleh!!!!! We went to the market so Ememem could buy food. We left to see Azuma and that was cool. We ate food there and then went to Francis. We had a good lesson for him. He's more than ready to be baptized on the 11th!!!! We left and saw Livingston again and had a great lesson of the Book of Mormon.
Saturday was okay. We went and did chapel cleaning. Brother Phillip came to the apartment!!!!!! He does wood carvings and things like that!!! I got 2 beaded elephant masks for the walls and I got dad a sweet wood carving of a deer!!! So, um, my personal (money) finished that, but I just pulled some today. We went and saw Livingston and that was nice. We left for Ablekuma to see Francis, and we then went to Anyaa last stop to see a girl named Mary. She made us ampacey and garden egg stew so that was super good!!! We taught her and she wants us to come back again so that's nice. We left and saw sister Comfort, but she's just not serious. She's a member, but we had the chance to share a good scriptural thought with her. We went home and yeah.
Sunday was aight. We had church and Francis and Ivy came. Francis is clear for his baptism!! We came back and that was nice. We went and saw a few people before going to see Jacob. He is leaving here on Saturday so that was crazy to see how fast his time here was. He's a missionary for his church and we met him a long time ago. We came back and yeah.
All in all, the week was just long. More less it was good, but sometimes doing this just isn't worth it.
Hope you all are doing amazing back home!!

Elder Stockton Smith
**Great Apostasy
When individuals or groups of people turn away from the principles of the gospel, they are in a state of apostasy. One example is the Great Apostasy, which occurred after the Savior established His Church. After the deaths of the Savior and His Apostles, men corrupted the principles of the gospel and made unauthorized changes in Church organization and priesthood ordinances. Because of this widespread apostasy, the Lord withdrew the authority of the priesthood from the earth. This apostasy lasted until Heavenly Father and His Beloved Son appeared to Joseph Smith in 1820 and initiated the restoration of the fulness of the gospel.
Latter-day Saints believe that, through the priesthood conferred to Joseph Smith by the ministering of angels, the authority to act in God’s name was brought back to the earth. This is “restored,” not “reformed,” Christianity. Their belief in a restored Christianity helps explain why most Latter-day Saint converts, from the 1830s to the present, converted from other Christian denominations. None of these converts thought they were leaving Christianity; they are simply grateful to learn about, and become part of, the restored Church of Jesus Christ, which they believe offers a more complete and rich Christian Church spiritually, organizationally, and doctrinally.
During the Great Apostasy, people were without divine direction from living prophets. Many churches were established, but they did not have priesthood power to lead people to the true knowledge of God the Father and Jesus Christ. Parts of the holy scriptures were corrupted or lost, and no one had the authority to confer the gift of the Holy Ghost or perform other priesthood ordinances.
