I'm staying in Anyaa for good!!!! or at least for the next 9 weeks haha!!! Since Koetting is leaving I will still be in Anyaa and I will receive a new companion and I will lead him in the area.
So, in a nutshell of a week . . . So we started off strong with seeing a few new people this week. We are seeing a man named Ransford and he's pretty cool. We hare hoping to extend to him a baptismal date and he is pretty interested in the Book of Mormon and the Priesthood authority so that's amazing! We are seeing a girl named Priscilla and she's cool. She had read all the things we have given her but we haven't had a lot of time for us to see her so that's a bummer. We are teaching a girl named Lizzy and she's ok. She's stubborn and asks us stupid non-relevant questions. We are having a lot of fun meeting new people in the area.
Our District is just a complaining district!!!!! So we have this guy named Chimbunde and a guy named Thomas and they don't like doing anything we ask them to. We literally have to baby them just so they continue to work, but that's a challenge of being a missionary and a challenge in life. We went on exchange on Thursday and I went with Elder Kapata. Elder Kapata is from DR Congo and it was pretty ok. So, he's not like my other companion from there at all and he's pretty chill when it comes to teaching and switching off teaching. It was nice to work with him and to see how everything is going.
Well things are crazy here and I can't wait to hear from you all!!!!!! I love you all, Happy Easter, and stay AMAZING!!!!!
Love,
Elder Stockton Smith
