Hey everyone!!!!

Chai this week has been pretty interesting to say the least!!!!  So since we are white washing we are just going around and contacting so many people and it's crazy!!!

So on Tuesday we got up and went out.  We went to see a few people that we contacted Sunday after church and that was interesting.  We went and saw a boy named Steven, he's 13 and he's pretty cool.  We left and tried to contact some more people and that was fun.  We went and taught Polinna and Felicity.  They are doing well and that's good, they are making some small progress so that is good.  So we went around and tried to see more people, but that didn't work out.  We went and got the pizza deal at Pizza Inn and we got some pizzas.  When we were about to close our day we got a call from a man named Samuel, he wanted us to come so we went there.  We saw Christianna, Samuel, and a man named Mesah!!!  Chai, Christianna is so enthusiastic about the gospel that it's crazy!!!  We taught them a sweet lesson and then we left and came home.  So yea, that was sweet!!!!

Wednesday was pretty cool.  We got up and went straight to go and teach the Yeboahs and that was cool.  We then came back and went to DCM, that was pretty cool.  We left and went out to Taifa.  So that day we went and taught a girl named Agnus.  She is pretty cool and we taught her just a few things.  We left and just walked around and talked to some people.  We went and found Abigail and Priscilla.  So they both seemed a little uninterested at first, but they soon were interested in the lesson that we were teaching.  We taught them and then had to come back for a meeting in Achimota.  So after that we went home.

Now as for Thursday it was interesting.  So we had an exchange and I was with Elder Akpan from Nigeria.  So we went out and tried to explore more of our area and then we went to go see a man named John, and we met him with his friend Simon.  So as we taught we ended up teaching Simon about baptism and he was pretty stubborn about it, but it was ok by the end because we taught him a lot more of baptism.  We left and went to see Alice.  We had a small lesson with her and it was pretty cool.  We then went out and saw Polinna and Rita.  They are pretty good and just not reading as much as we would like them to.  We left and saw the Yeboahs and that was very nice.  We taught them the Creation and the Fall of Adam and Eve.  We had a lot of fun with that.  We left and saw Christianna and she is just amazing!!!!  She accepted a baptismal date for the 17th of September!!!!  We then left and came back.  We met the guys and switched back so that was very nice.

Friday was decent and somehow difficult.  We got up and we did our weekly planning.  It went a lot better this time because we now have a lot more people to plan for.  We left and went to Taifa, we went and contacted so many people and then we went and saw Priscilla!!!!  So for her she is cool and the funny part was that we got trapped teaching her in a rain storm so that was very entertaining for all of us.  We then left and came back.  As for that day, it was just taken up by the storm so that wasn't very nice.

Saturday was pretty sweet to begin with and it was pretty sweet to end with.  So we got a referral from some missionaries and his name is brother John.  For him, he requested a Book of Mormon online and so we had to go and see him right away.  We went there and planned to teach him a lot, but he just said that he was just going to read and just call and ask if he has any questions for us.  So that was a major bummer.  Just after that we went and contacted a young man named Jerry.  For him he is super cool!!!!  We taught him, he had tons of sweet questions for us, and he said he would come to church!!!!  We then left and talked to a guy across the street and he was pretty cool.  Evans was  his name, but he doesn't understand a lot of English.  We then went to Polinna, Felicity and Rita.  So for them we talked to them about them keeping their commitments.  We helped them to learn that it was important for them to learn what they needed to do to progress, they understood and committed themselves to learn more and to read.  So we went away and then we went over to Taifa.  We went to go see some cool kids named Ike, Steven and Chuke.  We we went and tried to see them, but then we called and the father answered.  We talked to him, but he said he was a pastor and that he wasn't going to let us see his kids.  So we left upset and we just contacted and came home to Christianna.  She made us feel better to yeah.

Sunday we had no one come to church.  So we got up and went out to go pick up Jerry, but when we arrived he wasn't there so that was a serious bummer.  We then left and went to see the Yeboahs, but they weren't ready either.  We just came to church and luckily Christianna showed up, but later.  We also had Elder and Sister Munro come so that was amazing!!!!  So we then left and got some food.  We went back out and saw a few people.  We contacted a bit and then we went and got food.  We came home, ate banku, and then went to bed.

So as for today, we went to the temple site to play basketball and that was seriously cool!!!  We saw tons of people and that was amazing!!!  We left and I showed Memmott around Circle so that was cool.  We then came back and now we're here.

Well, that is all for the week and I hope that all of you are doing AMAZING!!!

From,
Elder Stockton Smith
