17 months on mission and I'm still growing!!!!!! So as for the week, it has been pretty interesting to say the least haha!!!!!
So, to start off we lost a guy named Ransford. He was super cool, but when he was reading the Book of Mormon in his house, his dad came and said it was a devil book!! Chai, he now has no interest in reading the Book of Mormon and he says that if we are around he can't say "hi". I know that when he gets older and leaves his family, he'll come back and investigate the church. It's how it is sometimes haha!!! So, then we had a good time in contacting more people in our area. We met a sister who is the sister of a previous investigator haha!!! It's a little weird, but it works for us. So yeah, we went around and had some fun teaching.
Wednesday we had a zone training meeting. Three missionaries are going home at the end of this transfer. Chimbunde, Achi and my own companion Elder Koetting!!!!!! We have a brand new missionary in the zone and his name is Elder Collins, chai it's crazy to see young missionaries haha!!! We came back and saw some people latter that day.
Thursday was pretty boring. Saw a few people and then went and saw Jacob, the white guy haha!!! We played ping pong in his church building and we talked for a bit, then it started raining like crazy and we were stuck there for like 2 hours haha!!! Light off in Ghana is not nice at all!!!!
As for Friday, we saw some people and then went to an old part of the area we haven't been to in a long time. We went and saw some people there. We were coming back and I got some cookies.
Saturday I went on exchange with Antwi!!!!! Chai, he's a strong missionary! He's about 8 months on mission and he is doing well. We met some new people and we now have more people who want to know about the church. We talked a lot and went to a far part of our area. We went around and saw a lot of people and it's super cool that he's Ghanaian and he talks to people in Twi. We met a lot of people and had some good lessons. We ate this gross kenkey** at a member's house and then we came back.
Hope you all are doing amazing!!!!! Love you all and always stay amazing!!!!
From,
Elder Stockton Smith
