Well quite the week to say the least!!!
So first off we had interviews with President Simpson on Tuesday and that was fun. Definitely having three mission presidents to get used to is kind of odd, but they each have something to bring to the table. Sure am glad we have a solid one now!!!!
We have been doing well in Anyaa!!! We have been trying to work hard with the members and find new investigators. I went on exchange with Elder Walton this last Wednesday! He's a good missionary and is eager to serve the Lord!!! We worked in Anyaa and saw a few people.
The people I'm most excited about working with is a few people. One of them is Ruth! She hasn't accepted a baptismal date yet, but she is progressing and loves to see us and stuff like that!!! We have had quite the chance to see her and to teach her. She has a lot of questions and she is right about one thing . . Ghana is not the best place to be chaste to the Lord haha!!!!!! I hope to show her the movie "Meet the Mormons" on Tuesday so that'll be fun!!!!!! We also have Kobby, he is cool. He likes hearing from us and loves to read the things we give him!!! The only problem is that we try to see him, but he is never around. We hope to extend to him a baptism day so yeah!!!! We then have Nadede, she has a little by that is just the best haha!!!! Hunt and Koetting contacted her a while back and haven't really taught her, but we are teaching her and it's pretty cool. We have only taught her a few times so that was nice. Only downside is that they are stubborn beyond relief!!!!!!!
As for things here, it's pretty sweet!!!!! We are hoping to increase the investigators here and just keep moving forward with that!!!! Things are better here than before so that is a huge huge plus!!!!!!!!!
Hope you all are enjoying back home!!!!!!!!! Harmattan has hit really bad!!!!!! Like that is where sand from the North blows down to Ghana and it is just dusty!!!! But on the plus side, things are pretty sweet here in the new area!!!!!! Things are AMAZING!!!!!! Transfer news is coming up so that's a bummer, but I'm sure Koetting and I will stay!!!!!!!
Hope you all are safe and enjoying back home!!!!!!!!! Love you all!!!!!!!!
Love,
Elder Stockton Smith
