As far as things go here, it's pretty cool. We had a pretty complicated week to say the least. Since last Monday we have been going around and getting people ready for stake conference. We have had some success in finding more less actives and working to bring others into baptism.
We have a few others, but I can't remember much about them. Lokutshu and I went on a lot of exchanges this week so it's been hard. He meets new people and expects me to remember them instantly, but it's a little hard for me. I've been working a lot to remember the new people we have to teach and it's pretty cool!!!!!!!
On Saturday we were able to go and farm in the morning. So what we did was just take a cutlass or little sword and just walk around and cut the things we didn't want to grow. We found a few snakes and we had this nice little lunch, but it rained on us like 10 minutes later. Chai we were just soaked!!! As far as that went, it was cool haha!!!!
I have made it my goal to do a thorough study of the Book of Mormon. I am starting from the beginning and going all the way to the end!!! I am also reading in the New Testament and also in the Doctrine and Covenants. I hope that by reading those I'll be able to learn and teach more about the blessings and other wonderful things concerning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I really hope to be able to learn more from the things I'm reading. I am also making my goal to work a lot more with the members and the recent converts. I've seen a lot lately that they are really helpful in sharing the gospel here in Odoben. I now know that I wasn't the best help for missionary work back home, but I really hope to go back and help the missionaries out a lot more!!!!
As far as things are going here, it's pretty nice haha!!!! I'm trying a lot to work with people around me and still trying to get used to everything. On the plus side, seeing new missionaries really helps me out haha!!!!
Well, hope to hear from you all soon, and I hope you are all being safe!!!! I love you all and wish you all wonderful days!!!!!
Love,
Elder Stockton Smith
